Located in Downtown Raleigh, this conceptual proposal was
considered by the owner for cladding drive bays along the front
of the building. Composed of horizontal members along a
steel frame, and intended to be lit from behind along the roof at
night, this simple solution is enlivened by slicing a series of
playful holes along the screen to mimic bubbles rising. These
openings would be lit from the interior with LED bulbs behind
shades or frosted glass to soften their nightly glow.
