The renovation of the 2nd floor of the historic Womble
Building in the Helig-Levine Complex for Empire Properties
proved to be a rewarding challenge. It is now the home of
NCSU's College of Design Urban Studio, housing classes in
Architecture and Graphic Design. The project has enjoyed a
wonderful reaction to the natural character that was exposed.
